Q-BUS Q-BUS is our latest QL project and is still in the prototyping stage. It is a device that plugs into the ROM port of a standard QL and provides an I/O system based upon a separate MCU (Master Control Unit). The MCU handles the interface with the external storage device, exposing a high level command interface to the QL so that one universal driver can be used for all devices that can be attached to the Q-BUS. Preliminary documentation is here. Current Status 13-OCT-2011: Q-BUS backplane completed and tested. Work is due to commence on the MCU Glue Logic card tomorrow.
